Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What services do you offer?
We offer photography and video coverage for a wide variety of events that usually covers but aren't limited to weddings, birthdays and christenings. We also do corporate events work and concerts.
I like your work. How much do you charge?
I'll be happy to meet up with you and know more about your event so that I have an idea of what needs to be done and how much the final costs would be. Contact me and I'll set an appointment for you for no charge at all.
My event is out of town. Will there be added fees?
Gas is tough these days, so yes, we add the costs of transportation, lodging and other expenses, including meals for our crew.
Do you edit your photographs?
Yes. I currently use Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Canon Digital Photo Professional. All my images go through these apps before they are released as finished photos.
Your rates seem high compared to most events photographers. Why's that?
It's really how much we value our work, and we take a lot of pride in making sure we spare no effort in giving you only the very best results we can produce. We adhere to a very strict sense of precision and professionalism, and make it a point to continually invest in our education and equipment that will make our photos better. We make sure our clients are more than satisfied with every peso they invest in us.
Do I need to feed you during my event?
While we should be the last thing on your mind, we would appreciate what meals you can give us if it isn't too much trouble on your end. Events coverage is hard work, and we need all the energy we can get to give you the best possible photos and/or videos of your day. No worries though, since we keep a cheeseburger or two in our camera bags just in case.
Who chooses the soundtrack for our video?
I usually let our clients choose, but we can come up with our own selection if needed. We try to know as much about you during our meetings and/or engagement shoots so that the soundtrack matches who you are.
What makes you different from other photographers?
I work to get to know you so that I can have a better idea of how I can go about capturing all aspects of your event, whether the photos are about details or people, candids or posed shots. I make it a point that our photos really illustrate the essence, emotion and heart that went into your event. I make sure our photographs are excellent on their own in-camera, but I tinker with our images on the computer just the same to give it a unique touch. I have my own vision of how our photos will look like that best illustrates who you are.
Do you have anything against other photographers outside your crew?
I'd prefer to be notified in advance, and it would be good if I can meet with the other crew so we can discuss how we can work better for your benefit.Do you have your own studio or work at home?
I have a small studio at my house where I get to practice my technique and test new ideas, so yes, I work at home. What equipment do you use?
I use Canon EOS Digital SLR equipment and lenses. I use a wireless flash setup for my studio lights for maximum flexibility.
How did you learn photography?
I am mostly self taught at photography but I took a short course on studio lighting at the Alcove taught by Jay Alonzo. I also learned on the job while shooting as Alfred Mendoza's secondary photographer for weddings back in 2005.What inspired you to be a photographer?
I started out as a graphics artist upon graduating from college in 2001 and found that I needed more stock photos for use in the collateral I did early on, so I bought a Nikon Coolpix 995 in 2002 and took the photos that I needed myself. Little did I know that it would become a lifelong obsession and passion, and I actually loved shooting with a camera just as much as I used a computer to produce digital art.
